A scenario for Blades in the Dark

Your crew has been recruited by the Dockers Union to “procure” an obscure researcher. As you work with the faction, you will discover that unworldly, ancient forces are at work. Will you go along with their plans, or will you make a new enemy? 

This document contains all you need to run a few scores with a new faction who are secretly controlled by an ancient fungal god. It is designed for crews who have been playing long enough to develop a reputation, but could be used as an opening scenario for a new game. 

Blades in the Dark is a system that works best with good preparation but minimal planning. As such, this document will provide a great deal of background and setting, but will keep the details of the heists intentionally vague. 

This document is intended for the DM. I will present a full picture, but it’s much more exciting if the players discover the secrets for themselves…

This game scenario includes detailed descriptions of the faction and important NPCs, background lore, two scores, and three maps suitable for use in Roll20 or other online tabletop systems.
