In a dark corner of the city, a tiny spore of an ancient god germinates into a small, colorful mushroom. Today they are small, but soon they shall grow large again.

A person of below average status walks the streets. Today they are weak, but soon they shall grow powerful.

The Mushroom God and the Human Host will soon find themselves inextricably linked as they both grow in power together. A host is a finite vessel, and endless growth is not sustainable. This will not end well.

ABOUT THE GAME

This is a storytelling game for two players. Through three acts (plus a prelude and an epilogue), you will tell the story of how a Mushroom God and a Human Host come together, grow, and eventually come apart.
